Welcome to the 7th annual Zeitgeist Half Marathon to be held Saturday, November 1, 2008. The race is open to walkers and runners and starts and finishes in the Optimist Football Park northwest of Boise. The loop course is on paved and dirt roads and has 1,181 feet of elevation gain over three hills. We offer 6 aid stations including 8 portable toilets available on the course.

Finishers receive a long sleeve, embroidered, moisture-wicking, T-shirt. We offer a nice post race party with hot food, cold drinks and a live band. While the menu for this year is not yet determined, we expect to offer similar fare to last year. At last years race we provided hot chocolate and Dawson Taylor coffee before the start of the race. We offered shepards pie, orzo pasta, soup, Zeppole bread, berry cobbler, soft drinks, and Tablerock and Sockeye micro-brewed beer. Overall awards and age group awards along with great prize drawings are provided as well.

Volunteers are welcome and appreciated. They receive a short sleeve, embroidered T-shirt and are welcome to attend the post race party after completing their tasks. Just complete the entry form, check the volunteer box and mail it to us.
